What is meant by 'the lowest unique price' ? What is meant by "unique”?
The lowest unique price is a price offered by only one participant in the auction. For example, if 1 euro cent is bid by at least 2 participants, it is not considered to be a unique price and the next prices are then examined - 2 euro cents, 3 euro cents and so on.
Does the auctioned item get sold for the lowest unique price in the auction?
Yes, the item is sold for the lowest unique price in the auction at the final moment of the auction.
If I am the first to bid 1 euro cent, have I won the right to purchase the auctioned item?
You must bid the lowest unique price. Therefore, if there has been another 1 euro cent bid from a participant, it will not be considered as a unique price and will no longer be part of the auction. But there is also the possibility that 1 euro cent is only bid ny one person.
What does it mean that my price is unique but not the lowest?
"This bidded price is not the lowest unique one at the moment it is submitted, but it is still in play in the auction. For example, if the lowest unique price increases, then the bidder of this unique price has a chance that in the course of the auction it will become the lowest unique price. The moment the lowest price becomes the lowest unique price, you will be sent a free SMS informing you of this.
How much does one SMS message cost?
There may be differing participation fees for auctions of various goods, which you can find out by selecting a specific auction and checking the price of one SMS message next to the description of the auctioned item.
What does it means when “bonus” appears next to the SMS price?
A bonus is compensation for the difference between the SMS price and the participation fee. If the SMS price is greater than the participation fee, for each sent SMS this difference will be added to the auction Participant’s BIMBASO credit. BIMBASO credit is a chance to participate in an auction using the BIMBASO homepage (the section ‘For participants’), rather than using a paid SMS. To learn about other ways to increase your credit, see the section For participants Credit.
Does the auctioned item get sold for the lowest unique price in the auction?
Yes, the item is sold for the lowest unique price in the auction at the final moment of the auction.
How large or small can the offered price be?
The lowest possible bid price is 1 euro cent while the highest is 99999 euro cents.
If I win the auction, is it mandatory for me to buy the item?
No, it is not mandatory to buy the item. The item can be purchased by paying the bidded price for the goods within one month of the end of the auction.
I bid 31 euro cents for the item, and although my price wasn't unique, why did the participant who bid 18 ero cents win?
This means that another participant in the auction besides you also bid exactly, therefore this bidded price was not unique. Since in this case 18 euro cents was the lowest unique price, the winner was the participant who bid exactly this price.
I sent three prices ( 1, 5, 10 euro cents), but they aren't all unique, why is this so?
In the course of the auction other participants have also bid these prices, therefore the prices you submitted are not unique. It is possible that such low prices are not unique because the end of the auction is approaching.
I sent an SMS in the final seconds before the end of the auction, will I still be able to participate in the auction with this price?
We only accept bidded prices until the end of the indicated closing deadline for the auction. We don't know what time the SMS was sent, we only look at the time the message reached us. It is most likely that a message sent in the final seconds will not reach us before the end of the auction. We reccomend sending the final bid prices not later than a few minutes before the end of the auction, because the SMS messages have to be processed through the mobile operator's network, and this time will differ for different senders.
What is the right format for sending the SMS, do I have to send ‘MT 1’ or ‘MT 0,01’?
The most correct form would be to send ‘MT 1’ if you want to participate in the designated auction with a bid price of 1 euro cent. If you send ‘MT 0,01’, we will also be able to process this price and will assume that a bid of 1 euro cent has been made. If for example you want to bid 123 euro cents, you must send ‘MT 123’.
At the end, does the auctioned item have to be bought for the offered price or the real store price?
The winner of the auction may purchase the auctioned item for the the price that he/she offered to win the auction.
How will I receive the auctioned item if you don't know my e-mail address?
We will contact the winner within 1 hour of the end of the auction (during working hours) on the phone number from which he/she has sent the bid prices, and we will arrange the payment and delivery of the auctioned item.
